Jada at her last track meet for the year. She is going to miss it... every time we drive by the high school she says, "He (she always says "he" instead of "I") wants to go track meet (and meet usually sounds like eat)."

First video is a group warm up

Second is the 50m. I had double duty of shooting video and running with Jada since daddy was at a meeting. I wish i could have got it all b/c she ran super fast and laughed the whole time!! This race was a personal record time for her, but who's counting! ha!

Third is the 100m. She said, "Mommy I do myself." Meaning she didn't need to hold my finger to run the race... she cracks me up. She did have to run by and greet her cheering section (grandma) in the middle of the race... even though she should have been running in the 4th lane! ha!

Visit from family

Jada was so happy to have her grandparents and cousins for a visit. We had a fun day of sight-seeing, then g-ma and g-pa had to get back home and Jada's cousins stayed for the whole week. We did lots of stuff together- nature center, chuck e cheese, pottery painting, waterpark- Jada loved having her cousins to play with!

Here is the fam at a redneck flea market. Jada enjoyed seeing the pigs, puppies, and chickens, but the highlight of the event was getting an ice cream from the ice cream truck.

Vacation Bible School

Jada and mommy went to grandma and grandpa's church for a week of Vacation Bible school. Jada REALLY enjoyed herself. She made lots of new friends and got to know a few 2nd cousins a little better. Bible school started at 6pm but Jada woke up everyday and wanted to go. On the last day she didn't want to take a nap for fear that she would miss it! In this picture she is wearing her candy necklace... this is before she realized it was candy. After she figured that out the necklace did not last long.

We got back from one VBS and then went to a few days of another one closer to home. She was in a preschool class and had a blast again. See the video below of this girls amazing dance moves... ha!
