In the pit. She is getting more brave every time and now enjoys just hanging out and laying around in there. I had to get in myself and drag the child out after this picture :)
Getting a sticker.... her favorite part.Jada at her last track meet for the year. She is going to miss it... every time we drive by the high school she says, "He (she always says "he" instead of "I") wants to go track meet (and meet usually sounds like eat)."
First video is a group warm up
Second is the 50m. I had double duty of shooting video and running with Jada since daddy was at a meeting. I wish i could have got it all b/c she ran super fast and laughed the whole time!! This race was a personal record time for her, but who's counting! ha!
Third is the 100m. She said, "Mommy I do myself." Meaning she didn't need to hold my finger to run the race... she cracks me up. She did have to run by and greet her cheering section (grandma) in the middle of the race... even though she should have been running in the 4th lane! ha!
Jada was so happy to have her grandparents and cousins for a visit. We had a fun day of sight-seeing, then g-ma and g-pa had to get back home and Jada's cousins stayed for the whole week. We did lots of stuff together- nature center, chuck e cheese, pottery painting, waterpark- Jada loved having her cousins to play with!
Here is the fam at a redneck flea market. Jada enjoyed seeing the pigs, puppies, and chickens, but the highlight of the event was getting an ice cream from the ice cream truck.
Jada and mommy went to grandma and grandpa's church for a week of Vacation Bible school. Jada REALLY enjoyed herself. She made lots of new friends and got to know a few 2nd cousins a little better. Bible school started at 6pm but Jada woke up everyday and wanted to go. On the last day she didn't want to take a nap for fear that she would miss it! In this picture she is wearing her candy necklace... this is before she realized it was candy. After she figured that out the necklace did not last long.

We got back from one VBS and then went to a few days of another one closer to home. She was in a preschool class and had a blast again. See the video below of this girls amazing dance moves... ha!
Having a great time during games.We went to a minor league baseball game and Jada got to run the bases after the game. After rounding second she headed for the outfield, then got a hand full of dirt before going to third. Jada enjoys the game and the mascot that she thinks is a puppy...but most of all likes the peanuts, cotton candy, nachos, pizza, and popcorn.
This girl really likes to dress up, put the music on in her room, and dance, dance, dance....and she is not even 2!!
Her favorite morning thing is sitting under the covers in parents bed and watching Dora on the laptop. Trying to break this habit since I found peanut butter on the laptop screen.
Wearing cousin Layne's dress she wore when she was 2...and acting totally silly.
Dirty face, but it sure is a cute little face! ...playing peek-a-boo with mom on the back porch... our fence is our best investment to the new house, that way Jada can run and play and we don't have to chase her down every two seconds.
First toe nail painting session. She wanted it and I didn't think she would sit still, but she did. Jada is so proud! Throughout the day she will say, "Look! It's toe nails. Yep, it's toe nails." So funny! And she wants to show those babies off...I try to put shoes and socks on her and she would throw a fit! We had to wear open toe sandals so Jada could see her toes!In this video Jada watches me (Cody) carefully on how to slide on the ice and the does her best daddy impersonation. She still talks about this fall from time to time. She will walk into the room and say "Snow, Eyes, Hurt", and begin to whimper. In the second video it is Jada sliding the proper way on snow and ice! The third video was Jada destroying my snowman. She thought I was building it for her to destroy. Needless to say there was no snowman.
