Ice Storm 2009

Oh what fun! Our electricity went off early Tuesday and came back on Saturday night (and we are the lucky ones that only lost it for that short amount of time). I, Rebecca, became very sick on Thursday, so it was a rough few days for us all. Jada was thrilled to have her daddy around more than usual, though, and partied her little heart out.

Growing up

The next generation of best friends are getting older. They are so funny together! They were passing that ball Jada is holding back and forth... cute stuff.

The chase

Jada really likes for her daddy to chase her. She will hear the door open, scream, then get into position in case he is coming after her. Jada is so funny...I wish you could see it for yourself- the way those little feet move so quickly!

Finalizing the adoption

Celebrate good times, come on! Our families all went out for brunch in celebration of Jada's big Adoption Day.

The Judge and lawyers were so great to us. We appreciate their hard work so we can be a family.
