Visit from family

Jada was so happy to have her grandparents and cousins for a visit. We had a fun day of sight-seeing, then g-ma and g-pa had to get back home and Jada's cousins stayed for the whole week. We did lots of stuff together- nature center, chuck e cheese, pottery painting, waterpark- Jada loved having her cousins to play with!

Here is the fam at a redneck flea market. Jada enjoyed seeing the pigs, puppies, and chickens, but the highlight of the event was getting an ice cream from the ice cream truck.

Vacation Bible School

Jada and mommy went to grandma and grandpa's church for a week of Vacation Bible school. Jada REALLY enjoyed herself. She made lots of new friends and got to know a few 2nd cousins a little better. Bible school started at 6pm but Jada woke up everyday and wanted to go. On the last day she didn't want to take a nap for fear that she would miss it! In this picture she is wearing her candy necklace... this is before she realized it was candy. After she figured that out the necklace did not last long.

We got back from one VBS and then went to a few days of another one closer to home. She was in a preschool class and had a blast again. See the video below of this girls amazing dance moves... ha!

Track Meet, Race

This is Jada's 50 meter race... very first one, after this race she figured out what was going on and was hooked. She said, "Do it again!" when we got done. In the video you can see/hear her laughing her head off in the middle of the race.Her last race was the 100 meter. Again she wanted to do a race after this one and we were going to try it, however, Jada then found the long jump pit full of sand and didn't want to do anything but play in the sand after that :) I, mommy, let go of her hand in the middle of the race (wanting her to do it herself) and that made Jada a little mad and she almost quit.

Running the Bases

We went to a minor league baseball game and Jada got to run the bases after the game. After rounding second she headed for the outfield, then got a hand full of dirt before going to third. Jada enjoys the game and the mascot that she thinks is a puppy...but most of all likes the peanuts, cotton candy, nachos, pizza, and popcorn.
