Where is my thumb at?

Yeah I know, thumb sucking is not good, however it is rather funny to watch her try to find her thumb to suck. This was going on for a while, then Rebecca decided to videotape some of it. After the 40 second mark she really gets a going.

I am so thankful for Rebecca! She is a great mother. I love watching her and Jada. It is one of my goals to tell Jada everyday "Jada, you have a great mom. She loves you so much. I am thankful that she loves you so much."

Four Generations

Welcome Home

I think Jada was celebrating the fact we were finally home! We had a nice surprise when we came home. Some friends from the church decorated our door and brought us supper. We are very appreciative and wonder what one does without friends that can't be counted on. Thank you guys!

Going Home

Got the call early that we can go home and we packed up very quick.

Not Home Yet

1. The state of Arkansas is not letting us come home yet. Hopefully Tuesday. They are not the easiest to work with. We are bummed out wishig we could go home and be a family.

2. The Alley family would like to send out our prayers to the Steven Curtis Chapman family. They just lost their little girl (5 years old) in a tragic accident. Steven is one the great hero's of Christian music. He is big time into adoption as he has adopted several children. They also raise money for grants for parents to adopt. We were fortuante enough to get a grant from them. They helped us get Jada and for that we are thankful. We are praying for you!

Hey everyone...Make sure to keep checking in. Where I am at currently the internet connection is very slow. When we get back to Arkansas we will put up tons more. Just keep checking back.

Everything is going great and Jada has finally learned to start eating. I think she takes after me (cody). She eats like a horse! We love her

Rebecca is with her best friend Becky. They were born 2 days apart. Becky recently had her 2nd child on May 6th and Jada came on the 18th. Looking forward to many more pictures of those two girls together.

Time to get ready to go home!

Hey everyone. When I get a better internet connection I will post more pictures/videos.

Court went great yesterday. Jada is with us and we are at my mom and dad's house. We are so blessed to have her.

Please do me a favor! While this is a wonderful time for us it is also a difficult time for the birthparents. They are great people who made a great sacrifice. Say a prayer for them and remember them. We do not want to forget them!

Hopefully soon there will be more updates. Praise God for the beautiful day and praise God for the blessings of life!

She is eating more and more. I am very pleased with that. Reason being, we have a nurse who said all the things to scare any parent. Turns out that she was a little to informative and liked to jump the gun. She is doing great.

Rebecca's dad was able to make it tonight. I was glad he came because he bought supper! LOL

Hey everyone

Please be in prayer Tuesday May 20th at 11am.
We will be in court and if everything goes well (which we expect it will)
then we will have "rights" to Jada. The court will view us as her parents.

Then we have to file an interstate compact agreement and get the states to allow
us to bring her back to Arkansas. IF everything goes well with it, maybe Friday. If not early
next week.
